My Story

What’s up everyone!

I’m Gani Ali, a 2nd-year medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I’m originally from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area, and my current focus is on pursuing a career in General Surgery—a field that challenges me, motivates me, and aligns with my passion for hands-on healing.

I carry with me the words of El Hajj Malik El Shabazz:
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”

These words ground me in purpose and remind me daily why I’m here—to learn, to grow, and to serve. I’m excited for the journey ahead and committed to making a meaningful impact both inside and outside the operating room.
